Below is a thread I posted on another board. . .
It is specfically my knee jerk reaction to a HBO special recently covering FBB'ers.
One thing is clear, FBB will never be mainstream and many will never appreciate the dedication or understand the lifestyle. That's okay.
What I don't understand is why fellow FBB'ers continue to paint a negative portrayal of this lifestlye to the media or otherwise.
It leads me to the next question, "If you believe it to be so dysfunctional, why do you do it?". Why would someone who loved and lived this lifestyle regurgitate this BS?
Furthermore, I believe it is all our jobs to represent what we do the most professional way possible.
Females and AAS exist and rather than bash and repeat what the media has already covered we should inform and offer our perspective, as we are really the one's who live and understand this culture.
